Problem
IRIS Business Tax: When you go to Edit and capital assets but you get message: Remove record totals only on the legacy data entry
Resolution
Go to Edit, Legacy Data entry, Chargeable gains totals – Remove tick for ‘Record Totals Only’.
The ‘Legacy Data entry’ option is missing: this option is missing when you go to Edit. Please go to Client, View. Subtype: switch this to a blank option and Save and OK. Now the Legacy Data entry will reappear. Make the correction and change the subtype back to what it was orginally.
